How to start - important tips

I). Every service you need you can find in Community Boards (alt+B), special NPCs are located in Giran Center:

1) Hell Queen: teleport to Elite farmzone

1) Symbol Maker Pepper: draw dyes, new Classic Best Dyes are available after 3rd class transfer!

2) Collector Pona: CP potions, elemental stones, common bracelets, time-limited talismans - for event coins

3) Blacksmith Baggins: buy and upgrade Talisman of Insolence/Baium, upgrade epic jewels

4) Head Blacksmith Kusto: add rune to weapon, remove rune from weapon, manage your clan/ally

5) Blacksmith Wilbert: unseal items

6) Fishing Guildsman: only Stews are valuable (increase basic stats for some time) - will be extended in future updates


II). You get additional adena on 20/40/52/61/76/80 levels.


III). If you are experienced player and you chosen class good for AoE farm you should go to AoE Level zone - there are much more mobs so your level up will be much faster - any gear is good there.


IV). Consider joining clan and finding people to start with - together you can do much more:

1) If people in your clan hunt enough mobs every clan member will get reward chest on next day, it cointains many rewards, max level of chest contains enough adena to visit epic farmzine.

2) We decided to boost nearly all fighters in PvE (except tanks and spoiler) to deal more damage.

3) Spoil rewards are everywhere - so when you farm with spoiler in party you can get double income.

4) Tanks got special PvE mode, when activated it gives big resist against monster and additionaly they have overpowered provoke - BUT it lowers PvP abilities when active - that makes them really good for hard mobs/RBs and can help you survive on less-harder places during first hours of gameplay when you don't have best gear yet.

5) There are very few special buffs (CoV like buffs level 2, Dance of Berserker, Song of Purification and Magnus Chant) owned by revelant classes and available at 80 lvl, those are not available in Community Board.


V). You should also save some adena to buy PA account - it's not hard since you get everywhere big amounts of adena (lvl up, clan chests, events):

1) Rates x4/x2 is best premium for power exp on start.

2) Rates x2/x2 is best premium for farming on start.

3) Rates x5/x3 is best premium for farming when you don't need exp anymore.

4) Rates x7/x3 is best premium for power exp your new character and enchanting your gear - it gives +30% chance.

5) Very big amounts of adena drop on elite zone - when you reach there you will be able to afford any PA you need.

6) You CANNOT change your premium plan so don't choose too long premium (unless you don't plan to change it soon).

7) If you change your mind you can remove your PA status with .removepa command and buy new one.

8) Premium account gives you special skill available generally only from castle scrolls - Castle Blessing - working like old Noblesse Blessing.


VI). Since there are new enchant scrolls available in Classic you can start your gearing from making your B-grade gear +20, read more at Enchanting section.


VII). You can exchange any epic jewel for another epic jewels and even lvl2 Baium Ring for Baium Soul (for better balance).


Easy start - step by step example

1). We decided to make all bosses, including epic, available since start - if you will be enough fast you can get your first high grade items early. It also means that you will have to choose where to go first because if you go to one place then for sure in other places you won't find anything alive. It doesn't matter what you choose - for better balance we added ability to exchange one epic jewel for another; and as for special bosses - all items can be farmed on farmzones easily.

2). Your starting place is peace-zone levelzone, you can teleport to AoE levelzone from Community Board (alt+B).

3). Get at least 74-76 level on one of levelzones.

4). Go to 74+ level zone, Prison of Darkness, which is also farmzone and get some A grade items. (You can skip this step if you don't care much about for level.)

5). Go to Rune Castle farmzone and farm consumentable items (best dyes, unseal clothes and enchant scrolls) and max your B grade gear with Improved scrolls (very cheap, since if you have luck you might use only 7 scrolls to make +0 > +20). Leveling on this zone is a bit slower, but still it gives some exp, so it doesn't matter if you skipped the previous step.

6). Go to Fairy Settlement farmzone and farm top A grade weapon and some jewel chests (Deluxe Jewels and Brooch will take more time to be maxed, so you can go to next step when you get weapon, and back here later or just kill special RB for already maxed Jewels).

7). When you get weapon you can go back to Rune Castle farmzone and get enchants for your A grade gear. For olympiad you can use Solid scrolls to make safe and easy +7, but if you want go directly for +20 then it's much better to use Blessed enchants.

8). Next step requires 20 billion adena. If you didn't farmed enough money from events on first day of playing then on 2nd day of gaming you should get your first clan chest - containing even more adena you need. Get party and go to Elite farmzone. You can farm there adena for Premium very fast. Also it's good time to buy and max your Pendant.

9). If you didn't max your A grade gear yet you can do it much easier now with +30% premium boost - and additionaly you can try more risky way and enchant items with Improved scrolls.


How to survive on farm zones

Prison of Darkness farmzone:

- level zone 74+ and farmzone for farming A grade armors/jewels and mid/high A grade weapons

- medium difficult, with tank very easy

- mobs there own weaked version on Cancellation skill - it cancel special buffs (CoV like, Dance of Berserker, Song of Purification, Magnus Chant) - you can get sick when you try AoE farm so if you plan to do so - take support chars with you


Rune Castle farmzone:

- farmzone for most consumentables on server, you can spoil coins for mats there

- medium difficult, with tank very easy

- every group contains special monster with very big Magic Defense - so if you're mage you cannot hunt here alone


Fairy Settlement farmzone:

- farmzone for top A grade weapons, you can spoil special jewel chests here

- very difficult, with tank quite easy

- every group contains special monster with extremely big Physical Defense - so if you're fighter you cannot hunt here alone


Elite farmzone:

- farmzone for insane amounts of adena

- extreme difficult, with tank medium difficult

- contains mini raid boss in every room

- full party recommended for best speed


Enchating

All scrolls have 60% enchant chance which can be boosted up to 90% with Premium!

All scrolls work like on official, but in case you might have not seen those new, we remember you their behaviour:

Normal scrolls - break weapon on fail, chance for +1 enchant for every scroll

Blessed scrolls - clean enchant of weapon on fail, chance for +1 enchant for every scroll

Improved scrolls - break weapon on fail, chance for random improvement from +1 up to +3 for every scroll

Solid scrolls - don't break weapon, don't decrease enchant, but limited to +7 enchant only, chance for +1 enchant for every scroll


Exclusive items

Talisman of Insolence/Baium:

- exist in official client and on offical server

- you can get parts to craft/upgrade it from special bosses (Galaxia - Elemental Stone, Ember - Energy of Insolence, Lilith/Anakim - Talisman Crystal)

- talk with npc Baggins in Giran Center to get level I and upgrade it

- to upgrade Insolence VI to Baium you need hunt Baium for soul

- Baium drops also fully upgraded talisman

- only Insolence VI and Baium talismans are tradeable

- Talisman upgrade chance can be improved by Premium!


Fire/Water/Wind/Earth Pendants:

- exist in official client and partially used on official server

- Fire=Fighter, Water=Mage, Wind=Support, Earth=Tank

- can be upgraded up to level 5, for Fire and Earth special levels are availble

- only lvl1 and lvl5 Pendants are tradeable

- Pendants upgrade chance can be improved by Premium!


Brooch and Deluxe Jewels:

- exist in official client but not used on official server (yet?)

- Brooch upgradeable up to level 3, Jewels up to level 5

- Brooches give you ability to equip up to 4 jewels

- you can wear 1 more jewel if you equip Talisman of Insolence VI

- you can wear 2 more jewels if you equip Talisman of Baium

- every Brooch and every Jewel Chest is tradeable

- only lvl5 Jewels are tradeable

- Brooch upgrade chance can be improved by Premium!



Custom commands:

.getvotereward - use it to get vote reward from Hopzone/L2Network/Extremegs

.raidstat - use it to see when dead raids will respawn

.offline - use it to switch your shop to offline mode (it will disconnect you)

.gotopk - use it to approach online PKer

.subka - use it to change your subclass

.removepa - use it to remove your PA status (canNOT be reverted)

.reportbot - special innovative anti-bot command (scroll down for info)

.away/.back - use it to switch on/off AFK mode

.buffstore - use it to set up buff store (only on special town areas!)

.cfg - use it to change your character configuration

.clan - use it to allow other clan memebers withdraw items from clan warehouse

.delevel - use it to delevel yourself by one level

.repair - use it together with character name to repair it (use on another char in same account)

.tradechar - special innovative trade character command (scroll down for info)



Those are not custom commands but they were removed from UI

/gmlist - see online GMs

/petition - write petition to GMs

Special commands explanation

.reportbot - this is our new very special command to fight with bots in human way.
It allows you to get bot jailed fast without help of GM, and it's protected from abuses - you cannot use it on character engaged in PvP, being in PvP/Siege/Oly/Event zone.
All actions with that command have detailed logging. When you report character he/she gets anti-bot question he/she must solve.
If he/she solve question correctly then your available uses of command will be decreased - up to 3 points - and they will reset after 24 hours.
If he/she answer wrong your available uses of command will be increased (but only if you got them decreased, you cannot farm "bonus" uses).
After few wrong answers bot is auto-jailed. Any abuse of this command will be heavily pentalized.
If you want to afk on non-peace-zone please use the .away command to be not treated with that command!
The .away command switches you to special afk state - use .back command to cancel it.

.tradechar - you can now trade your character safely on peace zone.
The character you want trade with must be on peace zone and must be in away mode (use .away command).
When you use command on him/her and he/she agree your characters will be switched immediately and you will be kicked from game!
You can also use that to move character to your another account for free.
